This patch cannot work properly while virus detection software is running. Please make sure that you have disabled any virus detectors before applying the patch.
This patch patches the Caps Lock extension included with System 7.1, which usually will only work on a PowerBook, so it will work with any Macintosh running System 7.1. As you well know, the Caps Lock extension is TOTALLY USELESS unless you have a PowerBook until…now. You purchased the System 7.1 upgrade (or paid with it when you purchased your system), now take full advantage of it. Make sure to use this patch on a BACK-UP COPY of your Caps Lock extension and not the original disk or the one in your System folder. Make sure to install the newly patched Caps Lock extension in your System folder when the patch is complete.
